Why artin(k)c?

At artin(k)c, we love and respect art galleries and could not imagine doing what we do without them. However, unlike galleries or other types of art dealers that offer art consulting services, artin(k)c does not sell art or represent artists. We follow the Code of Ethics of the Association of Professional Art Advisors. As a result, we are unencumbered by potential conflicts of interest that may arise when art dealers advise clients who are really just looking for information and assistance in making decisions. Consulting with artin(k)c means that a robust decision-making process will be in place before a client decides to buy art. Once such a process is in place, if a client decides to buy art they can rest assured that artin(k)c does not make a commission from the sale. All consulting fees at artin(k)c are negotiated on an hourly basis or flat rate.

We also offer expert guidance on the display and care of works of art after they have been acquired.

Thanks to being based in the Kansas City area, artin(k)c can be on the ground and working almost anywhere in the U.S. mainland in half a day.
